"MonsterbooK's music sits firmly under the alternative label. Now that term is quite far-reaching, but the band's music also stretches to meet the limits of the genre. They are unafraid to play it up for the betterment of a song, letting their imaginations run wild. Their music can range from bouncy indie rock, to blues and country tinged epics. The vocal range is also quite dynamic, from the playfulness and inflection of a David Byrne, or a Tim Booth, to the power and grit of a Janis Joplin.
"Dungeon and Dragon" is a song I feel James Blunt wishes he wrote back in the day...wonderful acoustic bass to this song, with a great vocal range...it's catchy and light-hearted...they are MonsterbooK.'
